Criteria for Eligibility
1. Applicants must be Non-Chinese nationals.
2. Applicants who would like to participate in PhD programs must have a Master’s degree
And show proof of Chinese proficiency.
* HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 6(more than180 points/300 full score)
3. Applicants who would like to participate in English taught PhD programs must have a Master’s degree and show proof of English proficiency
*IELTS level 6.5
4. Applicants who would like to participate in Master’s degree programs must have a
Bachelor’s degree and show proof of Chinese proficiency.
* HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 5 (more than180 points/300 full score)
5. Applicants who would like to participate in English taught Master’s degree programs
must have a Bachelor’s degree and show proof of English proficiency
*IELTS level 6.0
6. Applicants who would like to participate in Bachelor’s degree programs must have a
diploma of high school and show proof of Chinese proficiency.
* HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 4 (more than180 points/300 full score)
7.Applicants who would like to participate in English taught Bachelor’s degree programs
must have a diploma of high school and show proof of English proficiency
*IELTS level 5.5
Application submission
All the international students must apply online at http://istu.sdufe.edu.cn/. Make sure you regularly check your email and spam box in case we ask for further information, complementary documents or corrections. If we request information and we do not receive it, it could lead to rejection.
Deadline
Application forms are to be received no later than the 20th of May, 2022. Any applications received after this date shall not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified by the International Students Office of the University no later than July 10th.
Tuition
* PhD programs: ￥22,000 per year.
English taught PhD programs: ￥30,000 per year
* Master's degree programs: ￥20,000 per year
English taught Master’s degree programs : ￥28,000 per year
* Bachelor’s degree programs:￥15,000 per year
Bachelor’s degree programs of Arts and Physical: ￥18,000 per year
English taught Bachelor’s degree programs : ￥21,000 per year

Housing
The University has a number of fully furnished rooms which are available to international students.
Accommodation cost:
*RMB￥700-750 each month for each bed if two share a room
Insurance
Comprehensive Medical Insurance for Foreigners Staying in China
Insurance Premium: RMB 800/year RMB 400/half a year

* Notarized copy of degree certificate
* Notarized copy of academic transcripts
* Notarized copy of HSK or I IELTS certificate (recent report not more than 2 years)

PhD and Master’s Degree programs applicants should submit:
* Thesis of master degree program or published academic papers（PhD Degree programs applicants submit only）
